The Journey of My Mother's Son

Jan 4, 2022

I kick off my first podcast of 2022 by continuing my series of sharing the stories of the disciples of the Dream Center of Southeast Texas.

In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” podcast, I sit down and talk with with Kyle Denton.

Kyle is 30 years old now and has been battling addiction since he was 16 years old.  He has been in and out of rehabs on several occasions, but is trusting God that this time he will stay sober.

A native of California, he ended up at the Dream Center of Southeast Texas in order to get out of a familiar, yet potentially destructive environment.

He recently moved from heading up the warehouse at the Dream Center and overseeing the food panty to a case worker in the office.  Through my person interaction with Kyle, I can see that he has a heart for helping others.  I feel that his recipe for a successful and life-long recovery is to dive headfirst into the ministry of helping others.  Focusing on making other peoples lives better will allow him to move forward successfully in his own journey of recovery.
